When do they initiate namecheck?

Hi Gurus,
When do they initiate name check. Is it after finger printing or before fp? Thanks for your help -
 
I also wonder about that and would be great to have the sequele of events for the GC process, and NC seems to be the biggest bottle neck
 
I am also so confused, can someone explain what happens after Finger printing? I have an appointment for next week. Then what? When does the name check begin? How do I know? What is the next step and what time frames can I expect? I thought I would still have my case pending in 180 days so I can move from my company, but is the FP a good sign?
