When do medicals get done?

At the time my wife and I made our I485 applications, Dec 2003, the application instructions told us not to get medicals done at that time.

I was just wondering what the proceedure was for getting the medicals done, and when we are likely to here about this from the BCIS?

Does the fact that we have been in the USA since July 2001 having previously spent all our lives as residents of the United Kingdom make any difference?

I'd appreciate hearing any experiences others have had.

We are EB4, special religous workers for what that's worth!

Thanks,

Father Mike

Not sure how it works for EB4, but in my case, (EB3) the lawyer told us to do the medicals before applying for I-485, and then we sent the results with the I-485 application.

I think if you don't send them with the application at the beginning, they may send you an RFE when they begin to adjudicatre your case, and ask you to get the medicals done at that time.

It makes no difference where you're from, or how long you've been here.

Gurus, please correct me if I am wrong.
