When did the number of pending 485 application increase?

Last year, TSC had only 40,000 i485 cases pending. Then suddenly this number changed to 80,000. Does anyboy remember exactly when that happened?
 
Shortly after last years audit

After last years audit, the number increased suddenly. The number went up on either the October or November report I believe. It wasn\'t gradual over a few reports, the increase happened all on one report.

Also,remember that every time that the dates become current,the pending applications increase astronomically much to the dismay of the waiters while the people who are ready to file are overjoyed. That\'s how it works now!
 
During Jan 2001, increased to 80,000

During Jan 2001, the number of I-485 cases have been increased to 80,613 from 39,935.
 Total number of cases all types pending with TSC:
          By end of Dec 2000 - 261,408
          By end of Jul 2001 - 501,793
 It means the number cases have doubled in 7 months time
