when can we expect FP results

Hi ALL,
My wife did finger print on Sep 22nd and i have called FBI office about the result today and the lady says still they have not received the data from the ins for the specified Alien #.I have read in the forums like FBI will send the result on the same day of FP taken. Is it true.

Normally how many days does INS will take to send the FP to FBI agency?

What is the nos to call to check with FBI ? We did our finger-prints last week ( 15th and 17th). I can call and post what they say.

FP results sent same day

I checked this morning and I was told that FP checking was completed ( results sent back to USCIS ) same day i.e. 15th for my wife and 17th for me.

has your message changed for ur 485 confirming the receipt of FP?
Ours has not changed so i am a little concerned about it.
Please let me know.

No Update on 485 status

No. My 485 status has not changed either before or after completing FP. I have seen a mixed response on this board for this situation/ For some, the message and LUD changed and for many others it did not. I do not know what to make of it if the LUD/message is not changed.
