When can we apply for Naturalization?

This is for me and my spouse

Date we received permanent residency: December 13, 2007

Date when we first left USA after permanent residency: September 19, 2010 (after 32 months)

Date when we revisited USA : September 2, 2011 (after 11 months)

Date when we left USA in 2011: September 24, 2011 ( after 22 days)

Date returned back to US: 30 May, 2012

Having been living here since then. Have filed resident taxes through out. Do not own a property in US. Did take job overseas when out of the country.

Have two kids, both are born in US.

When can we apply for Naturalization?

You can apply now and hope that they don't deny you for those two long trips, but your chances of approval will be low.

Otherwise, if you want to be sure that those trips won't affect your chances of approval, or if you decide to apply spon and get denied because of those trips, (re)apply using the 4 years + 1 day rule, which would be 31 May 2016.
