When Can my son can apply for Citizen

Hi I got Green Card marring US Citizen three years ago so does my who was 16 then. Now since he turn 18 when can he apply for us Citizen. I know I can apply now after 3 years but what about my son can he apply also with me after 3 years or he has to wait for five years.

Also since he is 18 does he has to apply separately.

He needs to apply separately no sooner than 90 days before 5th anniversary of "resident since" date on his green card.
