Hi

I got my GC in the mail yesterday with a validity of 10 years. I got it through my wife and we have been married since Dec 2004. My first GC was issueD on 07/05 and got my current 10 year GC yesterday

From what I read I can file for Citizenship if we have been married for consecutive 3 years which is the case but need your guidance and help

Thanks

Yeah if you got your GC through marriage and you are in PR status for 3 years....you can apply for Citizenship. Goodluck!

I think GhantaBro is right. According to the timeline you have provided it looks like you can apply for Citizenship.

You can apply for N-400 90 days prior to the 3rd year anniversary of being granted LPR (usually the "resident since" date on your card), so long as you have also been married to the same USC spouse for at least 3 years.

As GhantaBro and Huracan have pointed out, you do appear to be eligible now.

One more requirement is that your spouse must have been a USC for at least three years at the time of filing.
