when can I e-file I765 and I131?

Hi,

I am filling the form of I485 and I130 etc. I will mail the application in 2 weeks.

I wonder when can I e-file my I765 (EAD) and I131(Advance Parole)? Do I need to wait to get the receipt or anything?

Or, can I e-file them at the same time I mail my I-485?

Any benefits in e-filing those forms? Faster, I suppose? By how many days?

e-filing is not a lot faster than regular filing. you only save a couple of days as your RD and ND would be the same date. Other than that, it gets processed the same as EAD's filed via regular mail.

Oh, with e-filing your EAD, you still have to mail the additional documents once you print the receipt notice online.

Last time I checked (about 6 months ago), most immigration lawyers were advising against E-filing citing problems with matching up the additional evidence. If you have the money now, I would just file everything at the same time.

In theory, an electronic application would be faster, but if you have to mail in evidence anyway, it defeats the purpose.
