When can I change the job?

Hi All,

I filed my 485 on August 10 and received both EAD and receipts for all the 131, 785 and 485.

Now my six months wait time will end on first week of February 1st week. Say I have offer in hand and company is ready to do H1 xfer as I would like to work on H1.

Is it safe to change the job in second week on Feb 08?

Please suggest..

I was in a similar situation. It is advised for safe you should work 180 days from the RD of I485 and have the paystubs that says it. Check with your lawyer.

I was in a similar situation. It is advised for safe you should work 180 days from the RD of I485 and have the paystubs that says it. Check with your lawyer.

You do not need Paystubs. Even if some one is working for the company still they can revoke I-140. For that matter what happens in case of GC with Future employment?

Employer should not revoke I-140 for 180 days pending I-485.
