When can I-1485 approved?

can anyone tell me on how long it takes on getting approvals date for pending I-485's(Nebrasaka) it's written in RD that it takes between 500-600days ,is it true?

Substitute labor
PD--08/2000
I-140---RD---April-2005
I-140 --ND/approval date--May24
I-485---RD---June20-2005 ?
EAD---- RD---June20-2005 ?
AP------RD---June20-2005?

It took me 9.5 months to get approved (both applications were filed concurrently). It looks like a year is the average for most people unless you get stuck in the name check stage. Your PD is very early so hopefully you'll be OK after Oct 1st.

I wanted to know what this Name Check is all about.

How do one know, if ones case is pending at Name Check.

Name check is something that they run a query against a database to see if your name matches anyone in a criminal database I guess. To do name check follow the procedure below

just send an email to fbinncp@ic.fbi.gov with your A#, full name, date of birth and country of birth. You'll get a reply in 3-5 months.
