When calender starts for GC Holder? 6months stay outside US

Hi,
I am GC Holder. I got my GC before my marriage. I got my GC in July 19th 2004.
In November 11th 2004 I left US for medical reason. Then I returned US on Apr 8th 2005. My marriage is On Aug31st 2005. I want to leave for 15days for my marriage.

How INS calculates no of months of my stay in US. do they start from day I got my GC(that is July 19th 2005). do they go by Fiscal year month of INS(that is October).

Will it be problem for me when i am returning US.

In furture How many months i can stay out US in a year in order to file my
Citizenship .

I am just asking about retaining GC first & minimal requiremnet in terms of no of days to stay in US to file Naturalization.
You meant to say that day count start from the day i received my GC. In my case it starts from July19th 2004. Not starts from October(Fiscal year month of INS)
