I am on an H4 and have been talking to Desi recruiters to sponsor my h1.
I have got conflicting information from them regarding my eligibility to work.
Some say I that if i get through the 20000 quota I can work in as less as 10 days coz you are eligible to work the monent your application is in process.you dont have to have h1 in hand.
If i dont get through the 20000 quota then I can work as soon as My application processing starts in October,
Others say I cant work for 2-3 months after October since I would take that much time to get SSN.
im really confused as to when exactly I can start working..when i get h1 in hand or when my application starts getting processed.pls help!!!
