Hi all,

I'm on H1B, My wife has Permanent Residence (she will be eligible for naturalization in 6 months ).

She is about to file I-130 for me, as it appears that we only need to file I-130 with two G-325 (one for me and one for my wife) at present with other required documents.

Script:
1) File I-130 with G-325
2) Wait to get receipt of I-130
3) Wait till she got eligible for naturalization and get citizenship
4) File I-485 for Adjustment of status
5) Wait till I-485 approved
6) File for I-765 work authorization (i need money in between :) )
7) wait for interview
9) Show notarized I-864 at interview

My questions are

1) Is my understanding correct to just file I-130 right now?
2) When do i need to show/file I-864 Affidevit Of Support?

Thank you,
Tony

Just after post i found following at USCIS

How is the I-864 processing fee paid?

The NVC processes immigrant visa petitions after the USCIS approves them. When the immigrant visa case is current or about to become current, the NVC will send a bill to the petitioner asking him/her to pay an Affidavit of Support processing fee. The NVC will send the bill along with instructions on where and how to pay the bill.

So i don't have to worry much about I-864 right now... Am i correct?
