on my 485 there is a A# as A78-xxx-xxx
and on my EAD Card it is written as INS A# 078-xxx-xxx

which one should we use to reference in future

thanks but there is no A on my EADCard

the A from 485 is replaced with 0 in EAD Card

it is like this

INS A# 078-xxx-xxx

on 485 it is like

A78-xxx-xxx

did you get yr EAD from the local office before you got the 485 receipt

Then the one on yr receipt is correct The one on yr EAD is the temp

i guess A# is just an application number, its different for EAD and 485. For ur 485 case use ur A# on the 485 receipt. mine is also A95.... for my 485, thts the number appeared on ur FP notice also, if i am right. correct me if i am wrong. i think u can refer the one thats on the 485 receipt.
 
My case similar like 485AC21.

Mine also has similar format as 485AC21(Vermont has this format it seems).

Similar for my other friends also, where INS A# starts with "0" instead of "A".
 
No A# is always same for EAD, Adv Parole & I-485.

It\'s the Applicat No.(Alien No.)
