GCFORMEORNOT,

The visa bulletin can be released anytime between the 8th to the 15th of the Month. It will probably be released today or tomorrow.

cheers,

May be further retrogression...

Or may be no more visa numbers and they might have thought no ppint in publishing... or the person incharge on vacation :) or Holiday season... all of them gone for shoping .... :)

In short don't expect anything +ve....

Probably......Waiting for Santa to come and cut the ribbon or to break the Retro doors and make all the Visa's current.

Dont Care Anymore

Usually USCIS release their bulletin on Friday or Monday ofcourse with some exeptions .

I am not too curious about it ...as i dont think EB2/EB3 PD for India will move by not more than a couple of weeks

P.D to be current ever ?

just curious, under the circumstances with majority of the employment based green cards are filed by India and China, do you guys think the P.D will ever be current ?

I mean, if the dates are current --- with PERM, you file your labor, if you are lucky get approval in 2 months, then file your 140 and 485 right away. So, 3-6 months, you have EAD and you will get GC in no more than 1 year.

is it even possible ?

I do not think so although i wish so.
Iam from India stuck EB3 P.D Sep/2002. Eighth year H1-B.

rucshaca,

Great question. Unless the number of available visa numbers for India, China and Mexico is increased, it is almost next to impossible for PDs to become current in the next 5-10 years. The process has sped up labor processing, 140 processing and 485 approvals but the bottleneck is the number of visas for certain categories. Without visas more than half the people can't even get to the 485 stage. The faster the other processes get the worse the situation will be in the final stage of approval for India EB3s and even EB2s. Its like opening up the floodgates without any way to steer the flood.

Over the years India EB3s and EB2s have been eating up way to many visas and in the 90s and early 2000s any Indian person who could spell "IT" came here on H1Bs. Add to that desi consulting firms (labor substitution and fraud), Indians overstaying on visas (adding to 245is) and willingness to bend the rules in every which way and you have a perfect recipe for disaster. Well the disaster has arrived and its here to stay :)

cheers,

saras

C'mon!!

Hey, hey, hey, give these guys a break, ok?
They're busting their backs in trying to get all our visas processed on time and get us going and here are you guys, so skeptical and cynical. What's up with you people??!!
