Whats up with OCTOBER no APPROVALS

We all had high hopes on OCT who bring new visa numbers and atleast those oldies will get approvals ..

Forum is dry with no approval mails and congratulations mails ..
 
I think the USCIS are busying send back receipt for the new I-485 files while the rest of the old timers like me still stuck in NC check.
 
Did you get a letter about name check?

How did you come to know about pending name check?

By receiving the response of SR from USCIS, and also get the reply from my congressman, they both said FBI security check pending, I think that make sure I am stuck in NC hole.
 
Yesterday I did some count and found on trackitt that in Oct Nebraska has approved around 50 cases (All EBs) whereas Texas around 18. Looks like Texas has been slow lately.
 
Just my guess: Both NSC and TSC are working on estimating the visa demand based on fresh influx of 485s during June-Aug 07 months and will be going very slow for Oct and Nov. In Dec they will have EB forward movement close to June bulletin and may do mass approvals. Also long awaiting NC cases will get push and priority for NC clearence and have better chances to join in the Dec pool. During Dec 20th -Jan 5th, again not much movements due to holiday season.

I agree

I agree wity tommyip. They are working on the New applications filed in July.
We hopefully will some movement by early next year.
