What's up with NVC??????

Hi Everyone,

Have you guys experiencing this problem as well? My Pkt3 was sent to STL on 9/10/2002 and they received it on 9/13/2002. Still NVC haven't received it from STL. I have been trying to call NVC but the strange thing is, the phone keeps on ringing but nobody picks up. Most of the time I get engaged tone and some time it rings endlessly (without pickup). Are you guys also facing the same response from NVC phone?

FYI, I call from India. Last week I got thru in 25 minutes and the week before as well, not now. Please enlighten me.

The best time to reach NVC is 8.00 a.m EST..... I usually get them within 5 minutes.

Even my case took like exact one month after I sent my pkt 3 to St. Louis.

Can you verify whether your check has been cleared. Give two to three weeks after your check has been cashed by St. Louis.

Pkt. reached NVC...

Hi,

My Pkt has finally reached NVC on 29th Oct.

I have been calling from India (AP), as I said, I got them earlier but not in last 3-4 days. Usually call after 8.00 EST... Finally I asked a friend of mine and he got the news of NVC receiving the Pkt.

Do you think NVC will clear (review) my file in Nov and send to Consulate (Mumbai).

Are you accounting for the time change that happened (back by 1 hr from savings to standard) this Sunday :D
