Hi folks,

A friend of mine went to his interview in L.A. where he was told that "a decision could not be made" on his application because his children's birth certificates were missing. He submitted the certificates within the week but hasn't heard back anything since. They did not acknolwedge the receipt of the requested docs. This was more than 4 months ago!

If USCIS claims they never received his docs, at what point will they consider is case abandoned?

I told him to call and schedule the info pass to investigate the matter. He is dragging his feet... Well, do you have any input on this?

Your comments are much appreciated.

Thanks,

Iluvfra

Tell him to file an INFOPASS online, show up at the USCIS bldg and request to speak to the same IO or his supervisor and ask what happened to all the documents he sent by mail. Somebody got the documents. Tell them that all you need to know is that the documents are on his file.

The application was not marriage based.

I cant believe my friend is fragging his feet on this... Well, he will be the one suffering the consequences....

Thanks for your input.
