Whats the time frame btween Transfer and Interview Dt for Baltimore Xferres

Hey Guys
whats the time duration between Xfer Date and Interview Date in Baltimore INS. I have heard from my friend who went to INS Baltimore and he was told that it wud take from 3 months to 6 months. Now , this looks to me litle strange because I have been observing from this board guys getting their Interview scheduled in max 2-3 months from Xfer.
I dont know why Officers tell impossible time frames when you go there and talk to them?Do they mean to scare you off?

Yes. Look at the VSC immitracker under transfer list. Some have had a 6 month hiatus from transfer to interview date. My guess is they will synchronize with the VSC approvals coming from the center (I hope I am wrong!!)
