What's the difference between Part 10 - question 19 and 20 on N-400?

There are two questions on N-400 that seem redudant to me. I am not sure how to answer them. Please help.

Part 10, Section D
19 - Have you EVER been placed in an alternative sentencing or a rehabilitative program?
20 - Have you EVER received a suspended sentence, been placed on probation, or been paroled?

My situation - I got arrested 9 years ago for speeding/disorderly conduct/interfere with officer/negligent pedestriant in an encounter with a connecticut state trooper. It was an ugly incident where I was beaten and arrested. My defense lawyer suggested me a non-contest strategy in which I applied the accelerated rehab. One year later, my case was dismissed after 50 hours of community service and clean record within a year. And I was told there was no criminal record. My GC application was approved without problem.

My Questions - It seems to me that I should answer YES to 19 for sure. But not sure what I should do with 20. What is the difference between rehab and probation? What is the difference between alternative sentencing and suspended sentence? Legal terms really confuse me. Is dismisssed the same as paroled? If there are same questions, why ask twice? How should I answer?

Appreciate any help!!!

An example of alternate sentencing is when you elect to enter some program (e.g. rehab) in lieu of a formal conviction or reduced sentence. For immigration purposes it carries the same weight as a conviction on the same charges.

A suspended sentence is one in which you are not required to serve some portion of your jailtime provided you do not re-offend within the stipulated time period.

You are probably still eligible for N-400 since this offense occurred outside the 5 year good-moral-behavior window, but you may want to consult an immigration attorney to make sure there are no surprises waiting for you.
