what's taking so long..

I have efiled my I90 on July 18 and haven't received a biometeric appointment yet..could anybody tell me how long it takes to get one. I called immigration and they told me that if in 3 months I don't receive a biometeric letter that I should call and they will get in touch with the service center which is processing my application.

received - 5/30/06
receipt received - 6/12/06

approval notice - 6/27/06
approved date - 6/30/06

you mentioned you got your renewal from the Cali Svc Ctr. Can you check your envelope and see if it has a Do Not Forward stamp on it? Pretty please? Thanks

There is nothing on the envelope that states "Do Not Forward" or "Return Service Required".

The only thing that shows on the envelope is the address of where the Green Card is coming from (Lee Summit MO) and your address.

Well

wow..that is really fast, so it must have taken you less than 2 months to renew your greencard..I think that there is a different timeline when renewing your greencard and there is another (longer) timeline when replacing your card or first initial processing for your card, because I efiled on July 18, 2006 and up until today, I had not received my biometeric appointment letter in the mail. I am filing because I lost it!
