What's implication of FP

Anyone knows? What is the implication of FP? Many of my friends and acquaintances say that once you're done with FP, your GC approval will be soon to follow. Most of the time 2 to 3 months after FP. Is this true? I just submitted my 485 late August and my FP is Oct 18th. I thought, it can't be that quick that 485 process is completed.

No, You,ll have to wait atleast until April 2003 for approval. We filed our 485 in December and got FP done in MAy. We expect our case approval only in JAn 2003. Try www.rupnet.com and you can see they are processing June/July 2001 cases as of now.
