whats happens if 485 approved when outside the country ??

Hi,

I am planning to travel sometime in May..I have valid AP, hopefully will
get my H1 visa revalidated as well by then. My 485 is pending, what
happens if it gets approved when I am outside the country ?
1) How do I come back ?
2) Does the INS find out the approval in the port of entry and stamp
my passport right there ?

Come back using AP

1. INS will stamp your AP at port of entry. Do not tell them about your I-485 approval, juist to make it simple
2. They will not find out about your I-485 approval at POE. You will
need to go to the INS office with your picture to get the passport stamped.

If valid visa is there H1/H4, then is it required to show AP if GC approved when we are out of country.
Any things/documents should be taken care of?

Please share your experiences? It will be of great help because we are also planning to go out of country in Feb/march

To add to this,
        You can always tell that you were not aware your approval until you enter the country. But you can again check with your lawyer
about the correct procedure
