whats going on ?

Guys,

Does anyone know whats going on at the INS and why this long delay of 3-4 months in which there are almost no approvals ?

I'm 02-144. What should I expect in the near future ?

I'm tired, frustrated, confused.

Let me make this clear.
Current wac02-041 approval rate is one per day.
About 350 cases left to approve for those who filed on Nov 16, 01.
Make the rest of the math to approximate you 02-144 approval date.

Yea stain is right, INS didn't do anything for the past 3-4 months, and now that they are doing something, they are taking apprx. 500 *working* days to clear one day's work.

You do the math.

Can i drop this 485 app and file for CP even now? Wish I had done it 1 yr back. What are the pros and cons ?

What do you mean by 'working days' ? Is it person-days ? Doesn't make sense that it'd take 500 person days to approve one app.

What has INS' reply been to all the questions AILA folks must've surely put to them about the delays ?

Whats the Nov-16 magic date about ?
