What's going on here?

My wife received a code 1, but her LUD has never changed since the time she did her code2!

She did her code 1 3 weeks earlier over a week ago, but still no LUD change. Is that perfectly normal? Will she be getting the good news soon?

C'mon Bringslite,
you're a veteran here in this forum, you should know better that this is normal for BIO code 1. You LUD would change if you do BIO 2, RFI receipt, etc., but not for BIO 1

Brings, Lud don't change for code 1 now-a-days. It could change for an RFI/RFE or if an IO goes over her case file but for code 1 NO. So just don't worry she's fine.
I had my code 1 on 10/14/2005 but I didn't see no LUD change till 01/10/2006 & than again it was not for the FP code 1 but for the RFE that USCIS asked me to send them my birth certificate original copy.

Honestly guys, I have to admit, I am ignorant when it comes to these BIO codes! You see, I only had to do a code 1. I had to provide a photo, and then took my thumb print at the local office as I had to go through an interview. But thanks anyway for the valuable info

LUD change is mysterious and totally unpredictable. I've seen no changes after code3. Then, all of a sudden, couple of changes in January, 2006 - I guess, finally some lazy asshole stuck its nose into my file and that's what caused the changes. C'mon, don't you know that INS is still the same: treats you like a piece of crap and occasionally sends you notices like: do it, or else...

Why is like that?
Whenever they had a good night during weekend, on Monday they do anything.

My case I don’t know for what reason had been transferred out of Nebraska S.C. (I don’t know where)
And after 9 months came back to NSC and they gave me RFI and I gave them the answer in one day and probably they are sleeping in my case again. Probably they are using it as a door mat.
