What's everyone's prediction re: July-August apps filed?

Just wondering what everyone's prediction is on what will happen now that the stagnation of EB categories has become current. Then unavailable and then current again.

Was it just a dirty trick they played to prove they've made progress by eliminating backlogs & making all visa numbers available then "oops" we ran out of them..next fiscal year pls.?

And now that they were forced to accept applications until August 17th, will the process basically be backlogged again? - just happens to be at a different stage in the GC process. Or is there a chance they will hurry up because of their "mistake"?

What's your guestimate? :confused: :confused: :confused:

Has anyone from June/July received a receipt, biometrics apt, EAD, AP yet? What about earlier applicants?

Would love to hear everyone's thoughts especially from experienced gurus!!

I'm hoping October 2007 (end of fiscal year)...!!!!

or else all I-485 applications will roll over to next and take up that years quotas. :(

October 2007 bulletin will definitely show conservative dates. Depending on the volume of applications (already submitted) based on country of orgin (if applies) dates may move towards the June 2007 Visa bulletin dates, in the next quarter. This is my guess only - retrogression is complicated and depends on multiple factors.
