What Would Be The Status Of A Child If (he/she ) Born Out Of Us When The Parents Hold A Greencard ??

Hi Friends,
If the child is born out of US then do she/he can be filed for a Greencard????? if not on what status the child can enter into USA.

Please reply to my question.

if you comes backs from the country where the kid is born with in two years baby can come with out visa.try to remember your wife has to come with your baby when she is comming to usa first time after the delivary.This should happen with in two yaers of delivary.other wise the kid has to be in a q which takes more than 10 years. see the site immigartion-law.com.recentaly i read one article in that site
 
so child doens\'t require any passport while coming with my wife to US

  Thanks for your reply. After the delievery , Do the child requires passport to come along with his/her mother to US? We Being Greencard holders can we file a greencard to the child.

Hi! Rainforest...

I am not sure....but if I am not wrong...passport is required for traveling.......right?...so the child would need that....

you may be able to apply for the child\'s GC once he/she is in the US......

but please verify my comments with a lawyer or someone who has first hand experience.......
