What will AP Renewal FEE if 485 is pending($170 OR $305)??

My lawyer says....
Effective 7/30/2007 the I-131 FILING FEE IS $305.00
THE DEFERMENT UNTIL 8/17/2007 DOES NOT APPLY TO YOU AS YOU ARE NOT FILING AN I-485

IS THIS TRUE....I THOGHT IT WILL $170

PLEASE SHARE YOUR THOUGHT.....

ppl here usually ask you to confirm with your lawyer, and here you are confirming what your lawyer said
He's right - if you filed your 485 per the July VB (with old 485 fees), then you could have paid the lesser amount for EAD / AP renewals
