My Aos is based on siblings petition and in interview they did not ask much.Now am asked for Divorce decree and sworn statement of my previous marriage and sworn statement of how and when we met if we lived together and for how long and where and when why we got seperated and divoced and why I remarried my ex .He was from another country and he visited me few times and he had no intention of being in USA.But things did not work out and we got divorced and I remarried my ex who is the father of my only child.So in both my marriage is not based on immigration.I did not stay long with my other husband we were officially married but never had relationship as we never got to live together although he visited me few times we had joint insurance and I was in his retirement plan.So for sworn statement of my previous marriage do I need to just submit my divorce decree and sworn statement or do I need to submit other documents as a proof like insurance and pictures.I paid lot to lawyers and everyone is coming with different answer.Am confussed and worried.Both my spouse are not resident of USA.So I did not marry for US immigration.Please help.Deadline is nearing

Well, submit the divorce decree and write down what you wrote in this thread, giving a brief history of your marriages and the reasons for divorce and marriage. Do not submit any documents that you have not been asked to provide. Your case seems straightforward and should go through smoothly.

Am new to this site.Thanks for answering.Most of the lawyers are asking lot .Some were scaring me .One lawyer was asking 3500 for drafting.Its sad why people take advantage.Thanks for your advice.I will update.
