What to do for SSN?

One of mine friend got approval recently and wants to know what he is supposed to do for changes in his SSN card?

go to SSN office

1. Fill up the SSN application form,
2. stand in the line
3. Go to the counter when called,
4. give them application, SSN card, Passport(with I551 stamp) tell them you want to update your SSN, after getting your PR.
5. They will give you the passport back.
6. withing 2-4 weeks you should get a card, which will display only your name and ssn number on the card.
