1) driver license
2) green card
3) passport
4) any original copy of the material you submitted along with N400
5) selective letter if you have (it is very easy to get), but I was not asked about it since it is very obious I was over 26.

That is all.
optional:
1) tax return
2) pay check showing you stayed long enough with your sponsoring employer

Are you applying for I-130 based on us citizenship or GC? I'am in a sililarr situation with my wife being in India after we got married. Please throw some information on the I-130,k3 visas. Thanks

i didn't get far in my i 130 ,as a green card holder i filed i130
i have notice of action ,then i applied for my citizenship six month later ,basically i just have to wait for the oath ceremony to get the certificate and then apply again or if you want upgrade my current i130.
the timing on that case is different from one consulat to another one ,it may take 6 to 9 month to finish the process (visa k3),it starts with sending your i 130 to vermont ,then after getting a receipt you file i 129 to chicago who will forward it to missouri then state departement will contact the embassy of your country .
in the meantime if your i 130 is approved ,your wife will get not a visa k 3 but an immigrant visa .
so far i still at primary process i will keep you updated .

menael,
I got my interview letter yesterday but it does not say anything about the oath ceremony.

Does it say on your letter that you will have the oath on the same day?

I am confused.
My friends told me that if it is not stated on the letter then I will have to wait for another 2-3 months for oath letter.

Please reply if you have any idea..

Thanks.
Kazmi
