While arguing against illegal immigration and border crossers, immigration restrictionists also want to have a moratorium on LEGAL immigration. Despite major restrictonists (e.g. Loo Dobbs) assertions that they are only against immigration of the *illegal* kind, this really shows their true colors (that they are against immigration of ALL kind, including those of skilled, legal workers that this country desperately needs)

Sobers, what you have posted is very true. I have been saying it on this forum for a long time that all immigrants must fight together - legal and illegal - because the "restrictionists" or ultra-conservatives do not really make a distinction between whether we are here legally or illegally. They just want as many foriegners as possible out!

Unfortunately, each time I express this sentiment, everyone on the forum puts me down as a symphatizer of illegal immig.....
