what the ** is going on with VSC.
It is so way too slower than other centers and
It didn't move a single day from last update!!!
 
There are many of us whose processing dates are current at VSC (my I-485 RD is March 2005) - and I have been very concerned as to why my I-485 is not getting approved even though the processing dates have been current for quite a while. So it's a good thing that VSC are not randomly updating their dates without first taking care off the pending cases. Else if they would have updated dates than we would have gotten more concerned.

huxf - it will not make any sense for VSC to update their dates without actually being able to implement them - I agree that VSC is the worst of all centers - but you do not wan't to end up in a situation (like we are) where your PD and I-485 processing dates have been current for more than 3 months and you are anxiously waiting to see LUDs on your case and wondering why you have'nt gotten the approval yet.
 
I called VSC and asked for I485 issue, they told me it is hold up on back ground check... they can do nothing about it, the only thing I can do is to contact congressman's office.

situation might be different for I140
