What the hell is happening at Vermont !!!!!Why are they so slow !!!!!!!

Why have approvals slowed down ... I just heard from my lawyer that 485 cases is not the priority right now for Vermont.... maybe he is correct .....


On a different note there are 3 kinds of responses you get from Vermont when you make an inquiry if your dates are past the online processing dates

1. If your name check is pending.... they will mention that they have send you name for name check process to FBI ... sorry dude ... be patient

2. If your name check is ok/all checks are complete....they you get a response ...Dude ... youre screwed ... take a hike...we dont have guys here to process your case ... be patient

3. If you are stuck with this "retrogression" stuff...you will get a notice for the saying the same

its #2 that bothers me !!!

yah... i heard the first two a lot from other people... if they dont have any freakin people to process cases and etc... why dont they just hire new freakin people... we dont pay them all of this $$$$ for nothing... its ridiculus people have been waiting for 5 yrs... and no status updates or anything on the cases..... !!!!!!!1

but I must admit; if I were to live in Vermont, the last thing that would be on my mind is work...

My priorities would go to things like skiing, fishing, hiking, canoing, camping, .... ah.... sounds like heaven from where I am :rolleyes:
 
atleast they are moving dates...

Now I485 date is Jan29,2004, it would make 2002 and 2003 filers life more miserable.
 
Somebody once told me, in Vermont,
there are more cows than people.
Maybe that's why things are so freakin' slow. :D

Where do you see this date? When I check, I see October 29, 2003. Am I missing something?

May lightning strike me dead ....Is this true ?????? Just browsed the website ...Still shows Oct 29 2003....???? Unless you're gett'n youre info from some source that I am not aware of ????
 
Yes. This is true. I just did a status enquiry on my EAD filled on Dec 13th and the rep told me that I485 official processing date is Jan 29th 2004.

Oh my god...oh my god...its true !!!!!

But how the hell can this happen ...since Jan 1 there have been hardly any approvals .....then suddenly the dates moves from Oct 29 to Jan 2004 as if its nobodys business....... Thats a leap of like 3 months.....

Looks like Vermont wants to keep Uncle Sam happy ....at least on paper !!!! :mad: :mad: :mad:

has your name check been initiated and if so are you certain that it has been completed?

i was told a week ago that i was all set and then this week i was told that my name check was initiated on 25th feb...so these jokers really don't know what they are doing...

I had called a last week of Dec last year. I was told that that all checks were completed and that I should wait till all my case would be picked up by adjudicator.

Do you think I should call them once again ??????

don't count on what they say...
i was told that my name check was cleared one week and the next week they said it was NOT...

these morons don't know what they are doing....
