Hello,
I filed for my parents green card on Aug 20th with I130, I485 and I131. Unfortunately, there was mistake in I485 forms and it got rejected and papers were sent to India. We somehow got our packets from India and applied for Green card again on Oct 15th(i485, i131). Yesterday, Nov 14th our cheques were cashed and i am assuming i will get my receipt numbers this week. I know the cases have receipt number starting with MSC(Missouri).
I am trying to get some idea on how long it will take to get
a. Biometrics appt.
b. Interview
This is based on assumption that there is no RFE.
It will help us in deciding if my parents can go to India on short visit for three months or not(advance parole application in progress).
