What Should I do under this Awkward situation?

I currently hold a valid H1B visa, but my work visa will expire by the end of August this year and will not be renewed. Meanwhile, I have been waiting for an asylum interview for nearly 2 years since I submitted my asylum application together with my wife and child in September 2021. Currently, my EB1A application is in the RFE stage, but the results will be available by the end of May.
My question is:
1-if my EB1A 140 is not approved, would it be difficult for my wife and child to obtain tourist visas? Should I withdraw my wife and child's asylum application? If I do so, would it affect their tourist visa applications?
2-When is the best time for my wife and the kids to apply for B1/B2 tourist visa?

Thank you for your help!

The reason why my wife and children are not using the H4 visa to enter the United States is that my wife currently has a stable and respectable job as a university professor in our home country, and our children can have a stable life with her. On the other hand, I am about to lose my job and have not been able to find a new one. If we were to come to the United States in this situation, our family would face a lot of upheaval and misery. Therefore, I would like to ask if, in this situation, my wife and children would not be able to enter on a tourist visa if I am unable to obtain a green card?

Thank you for your information. If my wife uses this visa to get into the US, then she will never come back and that is what we do not want to see.
