What should I do ? could anybody help?

My I-485 was filed to vermont service center and the receipt date is Oct 24th, 2001. I got my second fingerprints notice in May which asked me to have my fingerprints retaken in NY where I lived before. Since I already moved to Ohio, so I had it done on Jun 24th, 2003 in the application support center in Ohio.
I did not hear anything since then, so i called FBI this morning about my fingerprints result. To my supprise, I was told that the result was sent to Nebraska Service center on Jun 25th. How come vermont service center requested me to have my fingerprint retaken, while the result was sent to Nebraska Service Center? I am really frustrated. Anybody has any idea please give me some suggestion.
 
Ohio belongs to NSC or VSC?

I saw someone has same problem, did FP in NC, FP notice sent to TSC. But he said all center share the same FP system, it should be ok. I would ask the local office resent FP to VSC.

Thank you very much for your reply. Ohio belongs to Nebraska Service Center. Could Local office send the fingerprint result instead of FBI?
 
FBI probably only know it is requested by Ohio local office, so it
sent the result to NSC. I would go to local officer again, and ask them. Don't wait forever, that could be a problem later.
