What should I do before OPT expiration?

My situation is: I graduated in May 2010, and I got my OPT card in July 2010, and my OPT will expired in July 2011. I know there is 90-day non employed allowed during OPT, but I just started my job in Oct 2010, so I have used 86 days out of this 90-day. So my question is:

1. Can I still have 60-day grace period after OPT expiration?

2. My job probably will terminate this month, so I will have no job in June, so what should I do before my July OPT termination? Should I leave the country immediately? Or 60-day grace period will take effect immediately when the job terminate?

Thank you!

OPT STEM extension: Allows F-1 students whose I-20’s were issued for specific degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (known as STEM) to extend their OPT for an additional 17 months. A total of 29 months of OPT will be permitted for students who qualify for this new extension.

Apply 120-90 days before current OPT end date.

You do get another 60 days after OPT expiry

After OPT expiry you do get another 60 days, but if you want to go for higher degree you may need to file for new I-20 before that, so better check with the international student office in the college that issued you OPT to be sure. Hope this helps!
