Hello everyone,
I’m preparing to file my N400 application and have been hearing that USCIS conducts background checks.
I’m wondering: what specifically does that entail? Do they only look into criminal history, or do they verify things like employment records, travel, or residency?
How extensive are these checks? Have any of you encountered issues like delays or additional requests because of background findings?
I’d love to hear your firsthand experiences.
Is there anything I should proactively gather or clarify before submitting to ensure smoother processing?
