I saw some one in the forum say thatvermont service center processes 140's based on their priority date. I'm just trying tofind out where I stand in the queue? I submitted my labor in may 2002 (is tis the prioirty date for I-140?)
Does any body know what priorty date approx vermont service center is currently processing with respect to I-140?

I guess, CIS said on there website that htis is the logic they are using but as far as VSC's concern, there is no way we can confirm this point.I don't think we can count on this theory, still if this is true, thats great.

If labor application date is priority date, then it should be a lot backward.
I applied labor in June 2001, RIR EB2, Got approved in May 2003 and applied 140 / 485 in June 2003.
Still waiting. Static situation since then.

I'm starting to doubt that as well. My PD is April 2001 (got approved in August 2003), and I-140 RD is October 2003. I have seen people who have filed their LC years after me, in the same category as me (EB3), and with later I140 RD, getting their I140 approved. Maybe the PD is still taken into account but is not the only factor. I guess the only way to confirm that is to keep track of as much info as possible in the various trackers.

PD Irrelevant

Priority Dates have become irrelevant after all EB based categories were made current. I guess this happened atleast a year ago. Everyone is in the same Q.

HTH.

Apparently not everyone is in the same queue or at least the queue is not chronological. I am aware of the fact that all categories are current. However, unless the way they are processing the application is random, they might be prioritizing based on a combination of details. Unfortunately, unless we perform statistical analysis on large amounts of data containing very precise details, we can't really tell.
That's why we are sitting here, trying to find a pattern in the approved cases. Sorry if it is annoying :), but we don't have much else left to do while waiting...
