What percentage REALLY gets stuck in name check?

According to the FBI, less than one percent gets stuck longer than six months.

But it seems like 80% of the people on this forum got stuck, for a year or more. What is the reality?

• FBI Name Checks—FBI name checks are also required for many applications. The FBI name check is totally different from the FBI fingerprint check. The records maintained in the FBI name check process consist of administrative, applicant, criminal, personnel and other files compiled by law enforcement. Initial responses to this check generally take about two weeks. In about 80 percent of the cases, no match is found. Of the remaining 20 percent, most are resolved within six months. Less than one percent of cases subject to an FBI name check remain pending longer than six months.

Error in your epitaph .. may be not ;-)

Well, who took care of your EAD, AP and other stuff between 2072 ans 2085?

Oh - I see - you set up automatic payments through your bank, or you bequeathed a largesse to your tormentors to keep them happy ..

(Name check % is a myth. If you are stuck, it might as well be 100%. If you are through - you don't even know about it.

But - I think there is info available on this board - or I can share how I came out of this name check whirlpool - there are other legit ways to expedite your name check also)

You don't need EAD or AP if you're not working or traveling ... :D

Stuck people are more likely to hang around here. Also more likely to post and pour their hearts out.

The people who aren't stuck are through with their GCs. They've moved on and -that website... limmibrationTortal.com or something - is merely a distant memory.
