What # do I enter in the USCIS.Gov Website Case Status ? The LIN Number ? And if so do I enter everything. It says 13 Characters.

So it looks I have 2 different ones. One is with a * and the other one is with $.
So do I enter it this way .. LIN*000...... The ... are the specific Numbers ... or do I enter it LIN$000......

How long does it usually take until a Case Status will show online. My Check cashed yesterday and I called the Bank to get the # and when I entered it it can not be found at this moment !

i don't know about the LIN but the California Service Center has case numbers for the N400 that start with a WSC*00 so it should be LIN*00 in your case

The number on the check may be different from your case number. Just wait for the NOA, there you'll find your case number.
