Friends,
Now that we have tried all things possible, within our capacity, including the white house, I say that the next step should be in lobbying support from the congress, if we do not hear anything soon.
The next step could/would involve money, however we should look at that option also. I strongly believe that the next step would need greater number of participants (something that this group lacks , as seen by the signatures).
There are several groups that can lobby congress for our case. I say that we wait for a few more days to see how October goes and then consider the next option.

What say you guys ?

I understand lobbying is the right step to move forward. But the big question is where and How should we start lobbying?????

Great! Let us get more people to agree on this and then we shall take that into consideraton also, as this might need a bit more commitment than just sending mails.

Get in touch with US-India Political Action Committee (usinpac.come). They lobby congress for several different things and were instrumetnal behind the Phalcon deal. They can help us out if we send the petition to them.

We have tried everything but have not tried enough. We need to repeatedly send the petition to Bush, the congress, the media and CIS. We need many (all) of us to participate.

To the silence protestors on this board, please stand up and join our fight.

Yes, I am for lobbying, too. At the mean time, we MUST keep doing what we have been doing. Those who have not done it, please forward our petition to your senators and house representatives, George Bush, and the media. We should buzz Lou Dobbs more often than anyone else. Yes, he is anti-immigration and will not help us. That is the exact reason we should buzz him. He should at least shut up his big mouth when he talks about immigration issues. The media is a lethal weapon. Dobbs happens to be one of the most detrimental ones.
