What my wife on TD needs to do if I change employers

Hi,

I'm a Canadian citizen on a TN visa while my wife is on a TD visa. I might changing jobs soon. I understand that I can go to the Canadian border and get a new TN visa for my new company, then resign from my old company. My question is, does my wife need to do anything, or will her TD visa continue to be valid without any action on her part?

Your wife's TD visa is not tied to your employer. As long as you are in status and her TD is valid (not expired), she does not need to do anything.
