What makes our case to get moved to other service centers from Vermont?

I am really frustrated in seeing the slow progress of our I140 and 485 processing. Can any one let me know what triggers the USCIS to move my case from Vermont to Nebraska or California?

1. Current I140 processing date in Nebraska for EB3 is May 26 2003
2. Current I140 processing date in California for EB3 is March 05 2003
3. Current I140 processing date in Vermont for EB3 is January 15 2003

Thanks

you dont want to be moved!!!

Although I140 time is ahead for other processing centers, I485 is very bad for them. VSC is well ahead.

Nothing triggers BCIS unless you trigger

Hi Pruma

There is no such situation which will trigger BCIS to change the service center. It is upto you to do so. Possible scenarios are

1) your company moving over to other area
2) you changing the job to some other area other than VSC area.
3) May be you work for the same company but you are
placed in other area

etc...

I don't know why you asked this question.

If I-140 approval is quicker in other centers is the sole reason,
one has to see the I-485 scenario too as mentioned earlier
in this forum.

Now it is faster in VSC too. I see many I-140 approvals which are
just six months old.

I don't know if you got the answer for your query.
