What Items are not permitted to bring in for interview?

To all who have done interviews:

What items are not permitted to bring to the CIS field office for interview? Cell phone, iPad are allowed to bring in if turned off for security check? I'll have interview next month.

I brought my cell phone but I turned it off before walking in.
They had a metal detector so they will ask you to empty your pockets and take off your shoes.
It's ok for you to bring the naturalization booklet if you want to study a little before the interview.

Anything else we can bring in after security check? If not we have to put them in the car, but it might be too hot for laptop or ipad in the car in parking lot. Thanks.
