Guys,
I applied for a H1b in year 2006 quota..had got approved in Nov 2006.
Then went for Visa interview at chennai embassy and got 221-g stating to submit additiional docs about my company.(asked me to submit docs in person)
Then again went for Re inerview on March 2007 , but the visa officer told "the Tax sheets are not proper & hence your docs will be sent to USCIS".
I left the case here and stopped tracking.
Now recently got 2 mails from USCIS website(auto generated when my case status changes)
1) First mail read as below.
Application Type: I129 , PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER
Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.
The I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER that was transferred to our VERMONT SERVICE CENTER location is now pending there. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you.
2) Yesterday again got another mail which reads as below.
Application Type: I129 , PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER
Current Status: Case was shipped to the Department of State for visa processing.
On July 13, 2007, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.
Questions:
1) what does the mail 2 suggest?
2) What happens next to my case?
2) If they had decided to grant me visa, how wil they inform me?
3) I stilll reside in the same address , but my mobile number changed..should i intimate this?
Please help me with some answers..tnx in advance.
