What is visa period got for dv winner and interview successful?

I'm a DV 2013 winner and I will pass my interview at US embassy in june.
If i success my interview ,when i pick my visa (period between interview and visa picked)? and what period I get in the visa obtained?

and if I can't travel to US before August ,what can i do or what can i say to the visa officier at the interview time?

You can't choose when to get your visa, and when you get it depends on your particular circumstances. It can take a few days or if you go into administrative processing it can take some weeks or even months. You usually have up to 6 months to enter thereafter, sometimes shorter depending on your medical expiry date. But in general with an interview in June, even if you get your visa immediately you should be fine only being able to travel in August.
