I have a DOS recommendation for a J1 waiver based on Health Agency request.
1. Called the USCIS to get my receipt number - they said the case has been submitted to the US Information Agency. Does anybody know if this is the normal way they handle this? I know USIA deals with hardship waivers, but do they process the health Agency cases too?
2. The guy at USCIS said it may take up to 90 days, but then again info on this forum sais that it might take 30-60 days after the approval has been received from USIA...Any input on this?
