What is this suppose to mean .. Gurus help

Hello Gurus,

Just I received a letter from USCIS (Texas) saying that,
" We are currently awaiting the results of required security checks on this case and we
will make a decision on this case as soon as the security checks complete. If you donnt
receive a decision within 6 months contact our customer service"

My i485 was pending more than 450 days. After submitting AR11(change of address) form
last month I got this letter today .

I have no idea what is that suppose to mean.
I was thinking it looks like my case was pending due to security checks only am i right?

Sounds like it.

Sounds like they are saying its pending due to security check.
I would recommend contacting your congressman/ senator to epediate the process if possible.

thanks for response, actually I submitted AR11 form on 11/25/2005 ( change of address) and after one month I got this type of letter from Texas services center thats all.

Where did you send the AR-11, the TSC or the address listed in the AR-11? The TSC sent the letter to your old or new address?
 
I send to TSC and London Ky

Hello Friends,

I send the form(AR11) to TSC and DHS (london Central Processing center)
but I got letter from TSC within 29 days. Because I485 was pending rest of them are cleared.

Hi! Did you send the original AR-11 or a copy of the AR-11 to the TSC? Have you called 1800 number to request the change of the address additionally?
 
copy to TSC

I send a original (AR11) to DHS London KY and copy of AR 11 along with copy of pending application for me(I485).

If I were you, I would just wait for 3 months and then make an inquiry to the TSC with the received letter attached. Tell them you have already contacted the FBI. The security check has already been completed. Your case has been behind the TSC official processing data report if you are not subject to the visa number retrogression.

BTW, did you fill the A number in the AR-11? How did you answer the question, If NOT A PERMANENT RESIDENT, MY STAY IN THE U.S. EXPIRES ON: (Date)?
